Returns and exchanges come with an environmental cost. Packages leave a trail of pollution, and some end up in landfills.
This pollution contributes to climate change and worsens air quality, it creates million metric tons of carbon dioxide emissions annually.
People need to be aware that there are environmental consequences of sending back their returns.
CEDS not accept returns and exchanges, we ask for all our customers that you become a conscious consumer and just buy what you really need.
DELIVERY AND SHIPPING
Is there a minimum order amount for Grocery Delivery?
There is no minimum order.
What is the cost for Delivery fee?
Local deliveries are FREE over $45.
A $5.99 delivery charge applies under $45. At this time, we will be conducting porch deliveries. Once your order is placed, we will set up a time to deliver.
What is the delivery area?
We deliver within a 25 km radius of our warehouse in Richmond Hill. If the delivery option is not coming up for you at checkout, please send us an email. We may still deliver to your location!
We currently deliver in the following cities within Ontario: Richmond Hill, Vaughan, Thornhill, Aurora, Newmarket and North York.
When I will receive my delivery order ?
Once you placed your order, your order will be delivery between 2-3 days.
We’ll contact you by email and let you know the delivery date.
Do I have to be at home to receive the order?
All products must be received by an adult aged 18 years or over. If no one is at the specified address when the delivery is attempted the products may be retained by us, if happens please contact us to reschedule your delivery. Additional charges may apply.
When your order is shipped from our warehouse, we will send you an email to confirm your shipment - this email will include a tracking number and link to enable you to track your package.
Do you ship internationally?
We ship to USA only.
How much I will be charge for shipping?
Our shipping prices are the same charged by the transportation companies. The shipping price varies with the quantity ordered, destination of the package and will be send by Canada Post.
Can I use Pick up?
We regret to inform but we don't have pick up services.
What happens during hazardous weather?
Our drivers’ and customers’ safety and well-being are our primary concern, and we would never do anything to put either in danger. Our drivers are trained to handle various road conditions, but sometimes it can be just too dangerous. If we are forced to cancel delivery times due to weather, we will contact you as soon as possible, and you will have the option of either cancelling your order or rescheduling for a later date. Hazardous driving conditions could include, but are not limited to, heavy snow/blizzard conditions, freezing rain, flooding, or traffic issues (major accidents, road closures).
RETURNS AND EXCHANGES
We do not accept returns or exchanges of our products due to the environmental impact of reverse shipping and sanitary reasons! Over 5 billion pounds of waste is created annually due to reverse shipping! We ask that our customers, use what they have, buy what they need and ask LOTS of questions before purchasing. We do still want you to be happy with and excited about your purchase, so if you have an issue, please email: email@example.com All requests will be handled on a case by case basis.
We strongly encourage you to read our product descriptions, ingredients and care instructions thoroughly and to make well-educated purchasing decisions. If you have any questions, please email us prior to purchasing.
ADDITIONS OR CANCELLATIONS
To avoid confusion and ensure a speedy delivery, please check your order carefully before you check out. That being said, we know that mistakes happen. If you have forgotten to add something to your order or you wish to change it, please email us immediately. Choosing to contact us via social platforms (Instagram, Facebook, etc.), will not guarantee that your request will be received. And, as we are not able to add items to an existing order, the order will be cancelled and the customer will be responsible for submitting the order again.
Please Note: If the order has already been processed, then cancelling the order will not be possible.
If you wish to cancel your order completely, you must contact us within 24 hours by email: the order can only be cancelled if it has not been shipped. If the order has been shipped, then the order will stand and cannot be cancelled, and no refund will be issued.
CEDS Environmental Care reserves the right not to ship and cancel an order for any reason.
A 5% processing fee will be charge to all cancelled orders, unless CEDS Environmental Care delays shipments for more them 7 business days.
