Come and join with us. On this National Tree Day we are launching our project One Tree, One Hope!
Due Covid-19 we're celebrating trees a little bit different and we would like to get involved all Canadians to plant one tree in your backyard or yard and if you don't have a backyard, why not plant a new "Pet Plant". Let's see, for next year how many trees we "Canadians" will plant for next generations. Take a picture of your new tree, share and tag #onetreeonehope and #cedsenvironmentalcare
Let's celebrate the great benefits of trees: clean air, wildlife habitat and beautiful forests.
Let's get your hands dirty, teach for new generations what's matter, connect with nature and plant something that will benefit next generations and the planet.
We are launching a new project “Eco Planet, Kids for Saving Earth” engaging the youth of today to protect the planet of tomorrow.
Our goal is empowering children to drive change and improve their environmental awareness through funny moments and let them get involved with it. We are going to put on a plays about environment and sustainable living, and we are currently adapting a stage play for the children, having as our hero “Eco-Man”. Our hero will educate the children about right and wrong on the environment. Most fairytales and children’s stories serve this didactic purpose, showing kids the kinds of behaviors that are needed to succeed in life, to better planet, and to overcome villainy (pollution, trash, animals mistreated, bad behavior). It is during our youth that we most need good, healthy adult role models who demonstrate exemplary behavior. Heroes prove to us that no matter how much suffering there is in the world, there are supremely good people around whom we can count on to do the right thing, even when most other people are not.
Our ambition is that by 2020/2021, 1000 kids will have watched our play, working actively on environmental issues and engaging and inspiring other people, preparing them for a sustainable future. We can only realize our ambition by working together with like-minded organizations that encourage schools to engage in specific environmental topics. CEDS Environmental Care is the key to build partnerships which creation of new resources, projects and campaign through topic sponsorship.
